If I had a thought in my head,
I would bottle it up, with a cork
And wax, and drop it in the river.
It would wind its way to the sea,
Where on the morning shore,
It would find you.

Would you open the bottle,
Or leave it sealed? Would
You want to know what my
Last living thought was?
Would it hurt you?

If you opened it I doubt
That you would be happy.
But if it was left closed,
It would eat away at you.
